Some Recent Work

Here is some stuff I have been working on. New news is I got a job working for The Collegian, which is the newspaper for Tarrant County Community College, but I have been doing the cartoons/illustrations for them. It is new and different, but I am really enjoying it so far cause its getting me an opportunity to see what having an illustration job is like. The three illustrations in the middle was for the recent and past newspaper editions. The two paintings done in oil, the top one is for my grandparents and is 24 x 36. The bottom one is little Ozzy and is 36 x 48. I have been trying to keep up with my personal paintings and trying to experiement with new things I haven't tried before and I feel like its working and letting me find my "voice" a little better. I also finished up my sketchbook which is nice, I can't wait to start up a new one. That's all folks.

Big update

Well a lot has happened since the last post... our friend has passed away...Rest in Peace Brother... I am not moving to Virginia anymore because of financial issues.. again.. and now I am staying in Texas for this next semester and going to the community college to get some basics out of the way... Through all of this I have found that drawing all the time helps me keep my sanity for now. I am trying to start getting some paintings done too so those will be in the next post probably. Mostly I am just trying to keep my self busy for now.. I also posted the mural from South Padre. Oh and I got a new puppy named OZZY!

New Things

I have recently got excepted to Virginia Commonwealth University which I will be attending in the fall. Sterling Hundley is one of the professors there as well as many other talented teachers. I am sad leaving Ringling because the school and the people had a big impact on me there and I will definitely miss it, but I am trying to just keep looking forward. In other news I have just finished painting a mural in Port Isabel, Texas(its close to South Padre Island). I will be posting pictures of that up soon, and I am currently working on a mural at the House of Blues in Dallas so those will be going up as well. Here are just a few SB pages from my new moleskine, cause I finished the other. Have a good one!

New Painting

Haven't posted in a long while but here is a new painting I did for my uncle, Trying a lot of new things and being very very indecisive. In other news I am not going to be attending Ringling this next semester because of financial aid, but I am trying not let the bring me down and I am trying to stay motivated.
